Structure
The Worthington Police Department consists of 25 sworn officers including the Chief of Police, Deputy Chief, three Patrol Sergeants, one Detective Sergeant, two Narcotics Investigators, two Detectives, two School Resource Officers, thirteen Patrol Officers (including three K9s) and two Community Services Officers. The department also has an Administrative Assistant, two Records Clerks, six full time Dispatchers and one Dispatch Supervisor.
Worthington is located in Nobles County, in southwest Minnesota, and has Interstate 90, US Highway 59 and US Highway 60 traveling through its city limits. Worthington has a growing population of 13,947.
