Employment Opportunities

The City of Worthington accepts applications for open positions only.  Applications will be maintained on file for one year from date of receipt.  A completed Employment Application is required for all positions.  For some positions, a cover letter, resume, and/or supplemental questionnaire may also be required.  Please review each job posting carefully for required application materials.  It is important that your application is complete and includes all relevant education and experience you possess.  Applications may be rejected if incomplete.  Applications received after the posted deadline will not be considered. 

All candidates for employment will be required to submit to a criminal history background check and reference checks to determine suitability for employment.  Some positions may also require a pre-employment physical exam, a psychological exam, a drug screen or a driving record check.
