Request for Proposals - Zoning Ordinance Update

The City of Worthington is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms for professional services to update the City’s zoning ordinance and zoning map. Responses are due no later than 4:30 pm on Friday, June 20th, 2025.

2025 Annual Spring Clean Up

The City of Worthington will provide for City residential utility customers, an opportunity to dispose of items not normally picked up as a part of the weekly garbage/recycling collection day. This year the pickup service will begin Monday, May 5, 2025.

La ciudad de Worthington brindara a los clientes de los servicios publicos residenciales de la ciudad, la oportunidad de deshacerse de los articulos que normalmente no se recogen como parte del dia semanal de recoleccion de basura/reciclaje. Este año el servicio de recoleccion comenzara el Lunes 05 de Mayo.

Half Cent Sales Tax

The City of Worthington enacted a Legislature approved one-half percent local option sales tax on January 1, 2020 for the purpose of adding to, or improving, quality of life amenities. This tax shall remain in place for 15 years or until $25 million has been received, whichever occurs first.
