Half Cent Sales Tax

The City of Worthington enacted a Legislature approved one-half percent local option sales tax on January 1, 2020 for the purpose of adding to, or improving, quality of life amenities. This tax shall remain in place for 15 years or until $25 million has been received, whichever occurs first.

Request for Proposals Redevelopment of EDA Owned Property

The City of Worthington Economic Development Authority (EDA) is seeking proposals from
qualified persons, firms, developers, and builders for the redevelopment of approximately 7.23
acres owned by the EDA. This request for proposals (RFP) is intended to identify parties
interested in redeveloping the site. The desired outcome is the creation of a development and
purchase agreement.

Mapas de inundaciones revisados (FEMA)

La Agencia Federal para el Manejo de Emergencias (FEMA) ha certificado y aprobado una Carta de Revisión de Mapa (LOMR) por los trabajos realizados en County Ditch 12 en Worthington. Esta carta de revisión de mapa resultó en la eliminación de partes de la ciudad de la llanura aluvial.

Revised FEMA Flood Map

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has certified and approved a Letter of Map Review (LOMR) for work performed on County Ditch 12 in Worthington. This map revision letter resulted in the removal of parts of the city from the floodplain.
