The City of Worthington is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms for professional services to update the City’s zoning ordinance and zoning map. Responses are due no later than 4:30 pm on Friday, June 20th, 2025.

Request for Proposals Redevelopment of EDA Owned Property

The City of Worthington Economic Development Authority (EDA) is seeking proposals from
qualified persons, firms, developers, and builders for the redevelopment of approximately 7.23
acres owned by the EDA. This request for proposals (RFP) is intended to identify parties
interested in redeveloping the site. The desired outcome is the creation of a development and
purchase agreement.

Half Cent Sales Tax

The City of Worthington enacted a Legislature approved one-half percent local option sales tax on January 1, 2020 for the purpose of adding to, or improving, quality of life amenities. This tax shall remain in place for 15 years or until $25 million has been received, whichever occurs first.
